PEMBROKE, GA (WTOC) -

Fellow officers will gather Friday in Pembroke to remember a fallen Bryan County deputy. Georgia members of the Blue Knight will bring a traveling memorial to Georgia officers to Pembroke to pay tribute to Sgt. Bobby Crapse, who died in the line of duty last June. The traveling wall displays the names of fallen Georgia officers.

"These officers have paid the ultimate sacrifice and their names should be remembered from here on out," explained Lt. Bobby Durden. The Bulloch County deputy also serves as the Area 8 president of Georgia's Blue Knights chapter.

Crapse was killed in a crash with a wrong-way driver on Interstate 95. The driver awaits trial on vehicular homicide charges.

The wall will be displayed in Pembroke Friday afternoon from 2pm until evening in the field between Georgia Highway 67 and Rodgers Road. Durden said the group will display the wall Sunday afternoon in the parking lot of Island Grill in Port Wentworth.
