Home invasion suspect in custody

EFFINGHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

A home invasion suspect who was wanted in Effingham County turned himself in to the Effingham County sheriff's deputies at about noon Thursday, according to the Effingham County Sheriff's Office.

Chrishaun Garvin, 23, of Clyo, is charged with robbery, burglary, false imprisonment and battery. On Feb. 9, Garvin, and an unidentified male forced their way into a Clyo home and assaulted an elderly couple, according to the ECSO. They got away with cash and other items.

More charges are pending. Garvin is being held in the Effingham County Jail.
