SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police said Thursday that a man who was fatally shot in March has been charged in a double murder that occurred Sept. 1, 2012.

Sidney Grant, 32, was found dead on Indian Street in front of Club Frozen by responding officers. Police said Grant was the suspect in the shooting deaths of Michael Biancosino and Emily Pickels. The pair were shot and killed on Henry Street.

Police said they gathered enough evidence to charge Grant. It was evidence in his car that linked him to the double shooting. They also said they identified a motive in the murder, but have not yet said what that was.

Authorities are continuing to search for Grant's accomplices.

"We know he didn't act alone," said Homicide Detective Jonathan Puhala. "He had help, so the investigation will continue until we know who helped commit this murder."

Anyone with information on the shooting deaths is asked to contact CrimeStoppers at 912.234.2020, the confidential tip line at 912.525.3124 or text CRIMES (274637) and include CStop2020 plus the tip.

Additional funds from friends and family of the two victims has increased the amount available for rewards for information to $13,225.
