Woman charged in connection with Easter shooting

BURTON, SC (WTOC) -

Investigators have arrested Natalie Michelle Garriett, 42, in connection with the Easter Sunday shooting incident that killed Darryl McArthur Greene, 40.

Garriett was arrested Thursday evening on one count of accessory to a felony after the fact. She has since been released on a $25,000 recognizance bond.

Garriett was identified by investigators during the course of the still-ongoing investigation as having purposely falsified critical information concerning details of the murder and its key participants.

Investigators are still trying to piece together the events leading up to and including the shooting that occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. March 31 on Staffwood Ln. in Burton.
