St. Vincent's Academy hosted the Second Annual Fine Arts Night on Tuesday. Not only is the artwork of St. Vincent's Academy students featured, but also that of students from area Catholic schools including Benedictine Military School, St. James Catholic School, Blessed Sacrament Catholic School, St. Peter the Apostle Catholic School and Notre Dame Academy.
"Art is very much alive in the Catholic school. If they are interested in the arts, they can come here and get college credit for their high school class and have their art be part of their life and part of their world," said Carmela Laiffi, art department chair.
A Scene from Benedictine and St. Vincent's production of the play the Music Man, which they are performing this weekend at the Trustees Theatre, are the top two contenders for the Shakespeare competition.
