US 280 reopens in Black Creek area after collision
BRYAN CO., GA (WTOC) -
US 280 in the Black Creek area at Frank Henry Road has reopened after a collision involving a van and two semis.
Tractor-trailer and a van collided not far from the entrance to the Gulf Creek area.
A van driver was headed away from Pembroke and two semis were traveling in opposite directions. The van driver went into the lane of oncoming traffic and was hit by both semis, according to the Georgia State Patrol. The van caught on fire and was extinguished.
The van driver, 49-year-old Walter Williamson, was taken to Memorial University Medical Center with serious injuries.
