Man indicted for sex offender registry violation

YEMASSEE, SC (WTOC) -

A Hampton County man was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of failing to register as a sex offender.

Woodrow J. Stewart, Jr., 63, of Yemassee, was charged in an indictment on charges of failing to register as a sex offender. Stewart could face up to 10 years in prison.

This case was brought about as part of Project Safe Childhood.
