Gag order requested in toddler death case

Prosecutors are now asking a judge to impose a gag order in the murder of a Brunswick toddler.

Judicial Circuit attorney Jackie Johnson filed the request - saying attorneys on both sides should be prohibited from talking to the media - to ensure a fair trial for 17-year-old De'marquise Elkins.

Elkins and 15 year old Dominique Lang face murder charges. Police say the teens shot 13-month-old Antonio Santiago in the face in an attempted robbery of the boy's mother.

The teens are set to be tried separately.
