FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Coty Clarke scored a career-high 23 points as Arkansas continued its recent surge with an 87-75 win over Georgia on Saturday. The win is the second in two days for the Razorbacks over one of the SEC's top teams, following their win at Kentucky on Thursday night.
CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Matt Van Scyoc had 19 points and Marshall Harris III added 11 points and 12 assists to help The Citadel defeat Georgia Southern 80-63 on Saturday night. The Citadel used a 14-2 run, including seven by Van Scyoc, to take a 69-57 lead with 3:46 remaining.
GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Deven Williams scored 19 points and hit a key 3-pointer to help Savannah State defeat North Carolina A&T 71-67 in overtime Saturday night. Joshua Montgomery scored five of his nine points in overtime as Savannah State outscored the Aggies 11-7 in the extra period and never trailed.
SAN MARCOS, Texas (AP) - R.J. Hunter scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds as Georgia State preserved its number one standing in the Sun Belt with a 66-55 victory over Texas State on Saturday. Ryan Harrow added 14 points for the Panthers (22-7, 15-1) who have now won five in a row. Manny Atkins and Devonta White scored 13 points apiece.
