On Tuesday, the Beaufort County Board of Education voted not to change middle and high school grade configurations in the Bluffton area schools next year in order to address overcrowding issues.
They say a key issues in the board's decision was the concern there wouldn't be enough time to reconfigure the schools before the start of the next school year.
They say a committee will be created to address and incorporate enrollment issues into a long-range plan for the district.
