Graffiti strikes at Gulfstream

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Employees of Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. employees are alarmed after threatening graffiti was found in the bathroom. It forced gulfstream officials to take action.

Gulfstream wouldn't comment on what the specific message of the graffiti was, but several calls and a consensus about the situation seem to indicate -- it was along the lines of – "On April 18th -- you all are going to die".

It was allegedly written in marker, but may have been written in some other fashion on Tuesday.

Many employees didn't find out about it until Wednesday when management at Gulfstream addressed the safety and security risks with its employees.

"We recently found some graffiti that made some employees uncomfortable. Out of an abundance of caution, we are briefing all employees on the situation and have taken steps to ensure the security of our employees and our facilities. We are not in a position to say any more. As always, employee safety is our top priority." said Heidi A. Fedak Sr. manager, social media and external communications Gulfstream Aerospace Corp.

Gulfstream did not disclose what precautions it is are taking. The graffiti has already been cleaned up. Employees told WTOC it appears security has been beefed up too and no problems were reported on Thursday.
