Missing woman's family holds memorial service

Posted: Updated:
LONG CO., GA (WTOC) -

The family of a missing woman came together Saturday to hold a memorial service for her.

Deborah Gail Moody has been missing since December of 2007, when she disappeared from her home without a trace. Gail was legally declared deceased by a Long County judge this past year.

The family says they are still not giving hope up that they'll find their daughter alive.

"We wanted to have the memorial service as soon as possible this spring, so that we can remind the community that the search is not over with. That paper work exercise that they had back then was strictly that just a paper work exercise because of the time frame and we need to let the community know we're still look and we need their help." said Melanie & William Clark, Gail's parents.

The family also wished to thank the community for all the help and support they've given them throughout this terrible ordeal.
