The community is rallying behind a 4-year-old Toombs County boy who's battling cancer.
Silas Edenfield has hepatoblastoma - a childhood liver cancer. Doctors have told his parents they've exhausted all treatments.
Thousands of people are showing their support on his Facebook page and painting their fingernails gold to raise awareness for childhood cancer.
"The most touching thing is the number of people who've said that Silas' story has changed their lives," said Jessica Edenfield.
Supporters in Savannah with the Cure Childhood Cancer organization are hosting a fund-raiser in Silas' honor at Smoke Station BBQ on Waters Avenue.
They're selling $6 sandwich meals. Proceeds go to Cure Childhood Cancer, which is helping the Edenfields and other families.
