SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police are investigating a homicide that occurred Tuesday afternoon at Brothers Tire Repair LLC on Savannah's south side.

Police said Armando Montes, 30, the owner of Brothers Tire Repair, was found dead in front of the business by officers who arrived at 12:29 p.m. Montes' family members said he leaves behind two children ages 2 and 3.

Police said a suspect surrendered to military police at Hunter Army Airfield a few minutes after the shooting. His name has not yet been released. 

Metro police said the shooting was linked to a personal dispute between the two men. Violent Crimes detectives continues to investigate. 

Brothers Tire Repair LLC is on Hampstead Avenue on the corner of White Bluff Road.

"It's still very very early. All these things have to be checked out," said SCMPD spokesman Julian Miller.
