SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

CrimeStoppers Reward Fund has been increased in hopes that someone will come forward with new details on the robbery of the Chatham Federal Credit Union.

Chatham Federal Credit Union contributed $2,500 to the reward fund to encourage anyone with information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect in the armed robbery to contact CrimeStoppers anonymously.

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police were called at about 10:25 p.m. March 29 about the armed robbery at the credit union at 606 E 67th St. in Savannah.

Witnesses saaw the suspect take money and leave, but they didn't know which way he went.

The suspect is a black male between 5'5" and 5'6". He weighs about 145 pounds and has a medium build. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with dark pants, orange gloves, and a dark mask.
