B&D Burgers, along with the Department of Natural Resources, visited White Bluff Elementary School Wednesday to kick off a new program focusing on wildlife conservation. Students got the chance to interact with a real alligator and the B&D Burgers mascot. Students will now compete for a grill out for their class at the end of the year. Gena Bilbo with B&D Burgers explains why this school was chosen.
"White Bluff Elementary was vandalized recently, and part of this program is to give back a percent of our profits on certain nights of the week, so we picked them because of their recent vandalism," said Bilbo, B&D Burgers events and marketing manager.
The students at White Bluff Elementary will be the only school to help B&D Burger name their mascot.
