STATESBORO, GA (WTOC) -

The Exchange Club of Statesboro will host their annual Million Dollar Shoot Out to raise money for several charities they support.

"We help Prevent Child Abuse of Bulloch County, Safe Haven domestic violence shelter, as well as fund a Youth of the Year scholarship among others," explained club member Bubba Hunt.

Starting April 25, the club will let ticket buyers take aim at a hole on the golf practice course at The Clubhouse on Old Register Road through Saturday afternoon and take their best swing.

"The top 10 finishers will come back Saturday evening,"Hunt explained. "They'll line up 147 yards from the hole. If someone hits a hole in one, they win $1 million. If someone gets within a four foot radius of the hole, they win a four-wheeler."

Contestants can take part from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. The finals will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday.

For the first time, contestants can use credit or debit cards to purchase tickets. Tickets are also available online at  http://www.milliondollarshootoutintheboro.com/.
