SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Something Special Magazine teams up with Coach's Corner to hold the "Something Special Car Show" Sunday.

Lots of folks turned out to show off their cars and others to check out the vehicles which included a wide variety of makes and models. The event was held to raise more money to help students diagnosed with autism or cerebral palsy go to college.

"It's very, very important because we want to encourage these individuals that have different abilities to pursue a higher education so that they get jobs and they contribute to our society in a positive way. We want to make sure that they reach their full potential and they have just as much potential as anyone else does," said Katrina Laygo of Something Special Magazine.

Something Special Magazine will be awarding 2 scholarships in both Georgia and South Carolina for students to further their education.
