Folks enjoyed the beautiful weather in the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens at the Historic Bamboo Farm.
The friends of the Coastal Gardens held their 19th annual Sunday Supper. Those in attendance got the chance to tour the gardens, participate in a silent auction and enjoy dinner in a strawberry patch. All of this helping to raise money to support the Botanical Gardens.
"This has grown from a historical bamboo collections and it is well on it's way to being turned into a major cultural and Botanical Garden. So, it's an exciting time and we want to get people from Savannah out here to see what's going on," said Scott Angle.
Organizers are planning to begin work in the next few weeks on a new educational museum on the property.
