54th St. shooting suspect turns himself in

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect charged in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred March 20.

Arrest warrants were issued April 25 for Germaine Remond Grant, 23, and Terrell Akeem Nelson, 18, in connection with the fatal shooting of Achmed Kiwaan Williams in the 1100 block of East 54th Street.

Nelson turned himself in to Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police on April 29 on murder charges. Police are still seeking Grant on murder charges.

Grant is 5'7" and weighs about 120 lbs. 

Ashley Maurice Hudson, 31, was arrested on unrelated charges on April 10 at the house where Williams was shot to death. Hudson has not been charged in the homicide.
