Savannah-Chatham police say they're looking for a killer.

Police have a murder warrant for Germaine Remond Grant, 23, wanted in the March 20 fatal shooting of 27-year-old Achmed Williams on East 54th street.

Another suspect in the homicide, 18-year-old Terrell Akeem Nelson, surrender to Savannah Chatham police Monday. Nelson was denied bond Tuesday on the murder charge.

The victim, Williams, pleaded guilty in June to a negotiated charge of voluntary manslaughter in the April 2008 shooting death of his 18-year-old brother, Alex Williams.

Achmed Williams was given credit for time served and released from jail the same day.

Police have not said whether the two shootings are connected.

Nelson is due back in court May 16 at 2 p.m.

Anyone with information on Grant's whereabouts should call Crimestoppers at 912.234.2020.
