Residents living near sinkhole receive update on progress

NAPOLEONVILLE, LA (WAFB) -

Members of the blue ribbon commission investigating the massive sinkhole in south Louisiana are scheduled to attend a community briefing Wednesday evening.

Residents will receive an update on the progress at the sinkhole site near Bayou Corne.

The meeting will be held at the Assumption Parish Community Center in Napoleonville.

It starts at 6 p.m.
