Security remained heightened Friday at Bluffton High School, two days after a student brought weapons to the school prompting a lockdown.
Officials say 27 students were absent Friday, a usual amount. On Thursday, about 100 students were absent.
Officials say the school will remain diligent in its anti-bullying efforts but no formal or informal complaints were made by Austen Almeida, the student who brought the weapons to school, or his parents.
