SLED: Missing Georgia man headed to Florida

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

The missing Georgia man who SLED says may have been spotted in South Carolina Thursday morning could be on his way to Florida.

According to SLED, 88-year-old William McCranie was last seen leaving his home in Stone Mountain, Georgia in a silver 1995 Ford Econoline van with a Georgia license plate number of PD33U5.

SLED received information to suggest McCranie was possibly in Allendale around 10:30 a.m.

Investigators now believe he is heading further south.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a green jacket, and a gray shirt. He is also described as 5'9", weighing 210 pounds with brown eyes and white hair.

If you see William McCranie, you are asked to immediately dial 911.
