A solar-powered boat is docked at the Savannah Bend Marina.
The boat, which is named RA after the Egyptian Sun God, is carrying a crew on a 6,000 mile journey.
The boat only goes about 5 miles per hour.
They are hoping to break a Guinness World Record by using only solar power on their trip, which began in New Port Richey, Florida on Jan. 14.
"The biggest highlight, and it is what we are kind of trying to document, is the people we meet along the waterways. We have had cell boaters, yachts people and marinas that are really nice and offer us all sorts of things. They give us high fives and thumbs up. It shows the essence of American people," said Danny Johnson, 1st mate.
