Police: Man turns himself in after Yamacraw Village shooting


An investigation continues into a shooting Sunday night in Yamacraw Village.

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Dept.'s Downtown Precinct officers found Anthony Polk, 24, shot in the street outside a housing project at about 10:30 p.m.

Police said a man turned himself in to responding officers after Polk was shot. He was taken to Memorial University Medical Center. He was admitted in stable condition, according to police.
