BEAUFORT, SC (FOX Carolina) -

To support their hometown star, two watch parties are planned for the two-night American Idol finale featuring South Carolina contestant Candice Glover.

The Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce has planned an American Idol Viewing Party for Wednesday night at the University of South Carolina Beaufort Performing Arts Center and an American Idol Finale Party on Thursday at the Highway 21 Drive-In to support Glover's success on the show.

Both events are free to attend. People looking to attend Wednesday's party can pick up the free tickets at the theater's box office or visitor center. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.

On Thursday, the Drive-In gates open at 6 p.m. for the 8 p.m. finale.

Both events will accept donations for Candice Glover Community Celebration Fund.

Can't make it to Beaufort for the finale nights? Tune into FOX Carolina at 8 p.m. both nights to watch Glover compete against finalist Kree Harrison for the title of American Idol.

Glover is from St. Helena Island, SC, and was honored by the city with a parade and concert when she made the show's final three.
