A Beaufort High School assistant principal is back to work after facing DUI charges.
Daniel Tooman was placed on leave on May 6 and was back at work on May 7, according to the Island Packet.
The school district said Tooman fulfilled several requirements before returning to work and that there is no mandatory length of leave for a drug or alcohol-related charge.
A breath test indicated Tooman had a blood-alcohol level of .18 - more than twice the legal limit.
