Second-graders from 12 Chatham County elementary schools started their day with a field trip.
Friday was day two of the Exchange Club Center's Quick Think a Thon for Savannah-Chatham second-graders - playing the quick think game to learn personal safety.
WTOC's Sonny Dixon has emceed these friendly competitions for many years and can easily say these 12 youngsters did great. It was tough job for the judges, but they did it.
First place went to Jenna Griffin of Pooler Elementary. Second place went to Ethan Toraya of Hesse Elementary School followed by Kaylee Hubbard of Gould and Jalisa Phillips of Garden City.
