Teens charged in pedicab robbery

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police arrested three teens in connection with a pedicab robbery Sunday night.

At 10:04 p.m. Sunday, officers were dispatched to the Oglethorpe House in the 200 block of West Oglethorpe Avenue on a report on an armed robbery.

Police said a pedicab driver was stopped by three masked black males and two of them had guns at Whitaker Street and West Oglethorpe Lane. The driver was ordered to get off of his bike. One suspect took a small amount of cash from the victim's pocket.

An officer noticed three teens who fit the suspects' description walking south on Bull Street. Two officers took them into custody north of the 600 block of Abercorn Street.
