Father who's sons attacked by dogs speaks out

The father of two little boys who were attacked by two dogs Saturday in Douglasville is still in shock after the canine assault.

Lauro Quezada told CBS Atlanta on Monday he was walking with his boys along Greenbook road when the attack took place.

The dog bites left serve trauma to Quezada's 3-year-old son's face and back and also to his 5-year-old son's back and leg.

The dad says he tried to fight the dogs off but the animals were too strong.

"I was fighting with them and I lost my balance and fell on the floor and the youngest dog snatched my little one out of my arms," Lauro Quezada said.

Now this father hopes this incident serves as a reminder to other dog owners to secure their pets.

"Try to do the most that you can to keep your dogs out of the streets and attacking some other kids," Quezada said.

The dogs are being held in quarantine by animal control for the next 10 days. There is no word on whether or not the dogs will be put to sleep.
