Police seek Bluffton indecent exposure suspect

BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) -

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying an indecent exposure suspect. According to authorities, three incidents have occurred in the area of Tanger Outlet 2 since January.

Police say the first incident occurred at 7:40 p.m. Jan. 16 inside of World Market in Bluffton. The suspect exposed himself to a 23-year-old female victim while inside the store. The suspect is a white male, approximately 5'07", 150 lbs. He was wearing a green button up shirt, khaki pants and brown shoes. Video surveillance captured the suspect entering the store.

Police say the second incident took place at 6 p.m. May 16 at PacSun in Bluffton. The suspect exposed himself to a 19-year-old female victim while inside the store. The description of the suspect is similar to the previous  incident at World Market.

Police say the third incident occurred at 3 p.m. May 20 in the parking lot of Tanger Outlet 2 near the Nike outlet in Bluffton. The suspect was sitting in the driver's seat of an older model dark green sport utility vehicle. The only other information provided about the vehicle was that its license plate contained the letters "A" and "D". The description of the suspect is consistent with the previous two incidents.
