RICHMOND HILL, GA (WTOC) -

An alligator nearly 4 feet long has a tennis ball stuck in its mouth. He's been hanging out at the pond at J.F. Gregory Park in Richmond Hill.

WTOC called the office for the Georgia Dept. of Natural Resources in Brunswick. They said they are in contact with a biologist in Bryan County. She looked for the alligator on Tuesday morning, but it did not surface. If it is spotted again, she will try to trap it, remove the ball and move the gator to a safer location.
