4 charged for entering autos on St. Simons

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, GA (WTOC) -

Criminal investigators from the Glynn County Police Department have arrested and charged four people from Brunswick for numerous crimes committed on St. Simon Island.

Police arrested Quamaine Lavon Schaeffer, 18, at 4 p.m. May 28 on Ga. Hwy 303 and Ga. Hwy 27. Schaeffer has been charged with 23 felony counts of burglary in the second degree in relation to vehicles being entered in numerous neighborhoods on St. Simons between March 21 and May 23. The neighborhoods were the incidents occurred include East Beach, Sea Palms, Hampton Plantation, St. Clair Shaw's Bounty, and The Commons. According to authorities, more charges will be filed against Schaeffer.

Roderick Lavon Patterson, 18, was arrested on April 23 and has been charged with 15 felony counts of burglary in the second degree in relation to the cases previously mentioned.

Tyrone John Oliver, 20, was arrested on April 23 and has been charged with three felony counts of burglary in the second degree in relation to the cases previously mentioned.

Cassidy Nicole Packer, 18, was arrested at 4 p.m. May 28 and has been charged with a misdemeanor count of theft by receiving stolen property.
