Healthy eating habits are going beyond the home. Now school children are going to have that helpful guidance.
School may be out for the summer, but Savannah-Chatham cafeteria staff members are learning new ways to get students to eat healthy. The food servers are learning how to sell it to their customers.
Staffers learned the importance of the four Ps: presentation, prompting, promotion and partnerships.
The food education program is made possible by the Children's Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center and a grant from Gulfstream Aerospace Corp.
