RICHMOND HILL, GA (WTOC) -

It's been three weeks since a devastating tornado ripped through Moore, Oklahoma and some folks in Richmond Hill want to help the victims rebuild.

Michael McGaughey, owner of Royal Oak Car Wash, said right after the storm hit his 15-year-old daughter suggested they do something to help out. That's when he started collecting clothes, stuffed animals, bottled water and canned goods in a giant, 20-foot container at his business.

Michael says the outpour of donations prove just how generous the community is, but now, they need help getting the supplies to Oklahoma.

"I think it says what kind of great community we have in Richmond Hill, Savannah and the surrounding areas. I think people say to themselves, you never know what's going to happen to us. We are looking for someone to donate the service of taking this container or unloading this container on to a truck and taking it to Oklahoma for us."

You can drop of all donations at the Royal Oak Car Wash, located at 1792 Hwy 17 in Richmond Hill.
