POOLER, GA (WTOC) -

McDonald's celebrated its grand opening and ribbon cutting in Pooler Friday.

Its newest location is at 200 Pooler Parkway. Prior to the ribbon cutting, John Palmaccio of Palmaccio Management presented a $5,000 check in support of Patriot Weekend.

A portion of the proceeds went to help the wounded, ill and injured military at the Warriors in Transition Unit at Fort Stewart.
