Police nab suspect, seek second in Brunswick armed robbery

BRUNSWICK, GA (WTOC) -

At 12 a.m. June 19, Glynn County Police Criminal Investigators arrested Thomas Lavone Robinson, 26, of Brunswick, on armed robbery charges.

According to police, the robbery was reported at 1:35 a.m. May 27 at the Friendly Express on Cypress Mill Road in Brunswick.

The 34-year-old male clerk told police that he was robbed by two black males wearing bandanas over their faces. According to the report, one of the males was armed with a handgun and threatened the clerk. The suspects left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerk was not injured in the incident.
