Researchers to gather input for branding Bluffton

Posted: Updated:
BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) -

Several meetings are coming up this month and next that will allow residents to weigh in on the image of Bluffton.

The collaborative sessions, aka "charrettes", are the first steps in the process to brand Bluffton by the town, University of South Carolina and University of South Carolina-Beaufort researchers and the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce.

University researchers are collecting input, opinions, perspectives and perceptions of residents, business owners, tourists, and prospective residents and business owners, according to a town news release.

The town wants to develop a branding image so others know what Bluffton is all about and how it stands out from other parts of the Lowcountry.

The Town of Bluffton is starting a process to brand itself so others know what is different and distinctive about Bluffton versus other parts of the Lowcountry.

The branding process is slated to be completed by the end of the year.

The meetings will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Rotary Community Center at Oscar Frazier Park in Bluffton.

To RSVP to the charrettes call Leta Salazar, Bluffton Marketing Manager for the HHI-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce, at 843.757.3673 about which session you will be attending:
