TYBEE ISLAND, GA (WTOC) -

Rebecca Foley's family released balloons on Tybee Island Sunday in her honor on what would have been her 22nd birthday.

Rebecca's mother, grandmother, and boyfriend joined her father Eddie Foley for today's touching ceremony.

Today I put 122 balloons up. 100 plus 22 for each year of Rebecca's life. My mother put 153 up, which was 153 days since she's been killed." said Eddie Foley.

For Eddie, the gut wrenching pain will never go away.

"It definitely changed my life forever. Like I said before, I feel like I'm missing a part of my life. Rebecca meant a lot to me, over the past 4 or 5 years we really were close." said Foley

"I cut the cord when she was born. We were very close, we were bonded." said her grandmother.

Foley says he's not giving up hope that police will find the person or people responsible for his daughter's death.

It's been six months since Foley was found shot to death in her car at Marsh Cove Apartments.

Police still don't have any leads on the case.

Crime Stoppers and the Foley family are now offering a $15,000 reward for information on who shot Rebecca Foley. If you have information you can call Crime Stoppers anonomously at 912-234-2020.
