The sky over Rincon will light up Friday night when the annual fourth of July festivities kick off.
Food, crafts and music will all be a part of the celebration on Friday at 6 p.m. and a Laser show is set to take place that night.
The annual parade will take place Saturday at 10 a.m. and will feature the 3rd ID color guard and marching band along with the Savannah-Chatham Metro Police mounted patrol.
The parade will start at Macomber Park on Lexington Avenue and will travel to Rincon Baptist Temple on Weisenbaker Road. The main stretch of the parade is longer this year in efforts to allow more people to enjoy the sights and sounds at the same time.
