Savannah, HHI make Priceline.com's top July 4th destinations list

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Cities in the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry have made Princeline.com's Top 50 Destinations for July 4th list.

Priceline.com based the list on over 30,000 hotel room bookings with credit card backed booking requests.

Hilton Head Island made the list at number 38 and Savannah came in at 48.

    Unseasonably warm high pressure will prevail into Saturday night. A cold front will approach the region late Sunday, then move through Monday night. High pressure is then expected until a warm front moves through Wednesday or Wednesday night, followed by another cold front late next week.
