GARDEN CITY, GA (WTOC) -

Garden City Police with the help of Beaufort County Police Department are seeking four suspects who entered several stores in Beaufort and took merchandise.

One of the suspects, Keneshia Dee Coleman, was interviewed Monday after a traffic stop in Garden City where officers discovered many items that appeared to be stolen.

Coleman told police that her friends stole the items earlier in the day. Officers took the items away from her and later found out the purses were stolen from T.J. Maxx in Beaufort. Police say other items were stolen from Bed, Bath and Beyond and Best Buy.

According to police, the suspects also attempted to steal several thousands of dollars worth of Michael Kors and Dooney and Bourke purses from Belk but dropped them at the front door before fleeing.

Garden City Police now have warrants for Coleman. They say she is driving a maroon 2002 Dodge Caravan with GA Tag BZB-1069 or a white or silver Lincoln. According to police, Coleman is from Pooler.

Police also need help identifying the other suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 234.2020 or Officer O'Neal at 912.963.2717.
