SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

They've scored some big Hollywood movies and brought them to Savannah. Now, Meddin Studios is filing bankruptcy.

The studio filed for Chapter 11 reorganization bankruptcy protection Monday.

The punk rock film CBGB, shot at Meddin last year, is due out in October. Other recent films include "Killing Winston Jones" and "Enchanted Amore." The company's creditors include Colony Bank, the city of Savannah (property taxes), the Georgia Department of Revenue (sales and business taxes), and the Small Business Administration.

All phone lines to Meddin were disconnected Wednesday. WTOC has not been able to reach anyone from the studio.
