SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

CVS reopened Wednesday, one week after the façade of the building collapsed. It has been a long week for all of the businesses in the Medical Arts Shopping Plaza. CVS was the last one to reopen their doors after crews built a temporary entrance way into the building. WTOC spoke with the district manager for CVS, who says they are thankful for all the help they have received the past week.

"We would like to thank the city of Savannah and the state Board of Pharmacy for all of their support. We were able to construct this entry way in a quick fashion to be able to service our customers and gain permission to reopen our building," said Melissa Watts, CVS district manager.

Since the CVS is a 24-hour pharmacy, they also wanted to thank the CVS on East Derenne Ave. for accommodating those hours the past week.
