POOLER, GA (WTOC) -

A Vietnam POW will be speaking at the Might 8th Air Force Museum Saturday. The former fighter pilot was shot down and held captive for six years. He will be sharing his story, showing actual footage of being shot down. The now retired Air Force colonel has two Silver Stars, two Purple Hears, several Distinguished Flying Crosses and other honors.

"I am going to tell them about how I got shot down, my aircraft, what happened to it, where I went, where I bailed out, how I was captured, how I got in the prison system, how I got out of the prison system and then talk about the prison system itself," said Ret. Col. Thomas Norris, United State Air Force.

The presentation will begin at 1 p.m.
