Savannah Feed the Hungry's fourth annual "Summerfest"

Savannah Feed the Hungry's holds fourth annual Summerfest. The Savannah Civic Center had a great turn out Saturday.

This is one of the organization's premier events raising thousands of dollars for Feed the Hungry Savannah.

This year is expected to be like last year's event with tons of food and vendors throughout the entire civic center selling clothes, jewlery and much more.

And there's also going to be hiphop, r&b, and gospel artists as well, from the lead singer of Envouge, Maxine Jones, to the king of rap Kurtis Blow.

Kurtis is responsible for getting some of the artists to come out and he was also asked to put a song together for the event.

"The reason why I say it's so worthwhile is because, hunger is the number one problem in the world right now. I was honored to be asked, by Feed the Hungry to put together a song, and we'll be performing it today," said Rap Artist Kurtis Blow.

The name of that song is called "Show Some Love" and it will serve as the national anthem for Feed the Hungry.

The new song is set to make its worldwide debut in November.
