SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Savannah/ Chatham County Court Appointed Advocates (CASA) are gearing up for a new school year, but needs the community's help.

The annual Back-to-School Drive helps collects much needed school supplies for children who may not have started the school year off with any.

Suggested donated items include, but are not limited to:

  • loose-leaf paper
  • pencils
  • glue
  • crayons
  • personal-size hand sanitizer
  • 3-prong folder with pockets
  • colored pencils

Supplies can be dropped off at the United Way of the Coastal Empire building, 428 Bull Street Suite 205 Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting July 8 until August 2.

For more information or questions about the drive, contact the CASA office at info@savannahcasa.org or (912) 447-8908 extension 100.
