According to authorities, the fire was put out quickly. The home was destroyed but crews stayed at the scene to spray down hotspots.

An unattended candle left burning in a bathroom fell on the floor and ignited the rug, which spread through the rest of the mobile home, according to Savannah Fire spokesman Mark Keller.
