COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Dominique Grant, the daughter of Freddie Grant, the prime suspect in the disappearance of 15-year-old Gabbiee Swainson, has been charged with accessory after the fact, according to the Richland County Sheriff's Department.

At a hearing Thursday evening, a judge set Dominique's bond at $300,000 cash and she was ordered not to have contact with Swainson's mother, Elvia. She told the court she was innocent.

Sheriff's investigators say Dominique, 27, tried to help Freddie dispose of Gabbiee's cell phone by leaving it behind a Piggly Wiggly grocery store in Myrtle Beach.

"Both Freddie Grant and Dominique Grant have information on what specifically happened to Gabbiee and are working together to destroy evidence and thwart the investigation," said Sheriff Leon Lott in a statement.

Dominique was the defense's only witness in Freddie's federal ammunition case back in January. She testified that she brought a box of shotgun shells into her father's Elgin home for self-defense against a jealous ex-boyfriend, and because the box contained, in part, marijuana that she smoked.

Dominique also told the jury she left the box of shells and other ammunition at the home, along with some other belongings and that Freddie did not know about the ammunition.

Freddie was ultimately convicted of possession of ammunition by an individual who is disqualified to do so because of a prior conviction.

But Dominique told the judge something much different at her bond hearing Thursday, saying she did not try to help her father in any way.  She also told the judge she's willing to stay behind bars until Gabbiee is found.

Elvia Swainson attended the bond hearing.

Gabbiee remains missing almost a year since her disappearance in August 2012.
